What Clients Say
“Before starting [PWP], I struggled with energy, stress, and eating consistently.”
Most Nutrition Struggles Are About Structure
You probably know more about food than most people. You know protein matters and vegetables beat chips. What gets in the way is a skipped breakfast, a 2pm crash, an empty fridge and dinner at 9pm. That's not a lack of discipline. It's what happens when nothing is set up in advance.
So nutrition coaching here starts with the base: regular meals, a stocked kitchen, water through the day and a little planning. Once those are in place, food choices start to feel easier and more supportive.
What Nutrition Coaching Includes
This is the eating side of Personalized Health Coaching: a 16-week nutrition coaching program built into the one program, not sold separately. You get the full program, started from food.
- Personalized nutrition coaching that starts from your current eating pattern, energy and schedule
- Two or three easy, balanced meals you can make on autopilot
- A weekly shop or prep routine that fits your week
- One small swap at a time, like a home-cooked lunch once a week
- A food journal in the Everfit app, reviewed with your coach
- Someone to message when a work dinner or a late night throws the plan, plus a weekly check-in and a 1-on-1 every month
What Nutrition Coaching Is Not
PWP coaches are not dietitians. We do not write meal plans, prescribe diets or give nutrition advice for medical conditions such as diabetes, food allergies or digestive disease. For those, work with your doctor or a registered dietitian. Coaching can help you follow their advice day to day.
There is also no perfect diet to sell you. The goal is a way of eating that fits your life and that you can keep.
How Food Connects to the Rest of Your Plan
Food does not change in isolation. Poor sleep makes you hungrier for quick energy. Stress pushes you toward whatever is fastest. Regular exercise tends to make better eating easier. Because the program covers movement, sleep and stress too, the eating changes have support around them. That is the point of combining health and nutrition coaching in one plan.
What an Early Change Can Look Like
Early goals are deliberately small and specific, so they hold on a busy week. A few examples of the kind of first steps clients work on:
Each one takes friction out of eating well. Once a change is automatic, the next one goes on top.
- Eat breakfast four days a week, even if it is simple
- Swap one takeout lunch a week for one made at home
- Do one grocery order on Sunday from a short standing list
- Drink a glass of water before the first coffee
- Add a protein to the snack you already eat at 3pm
Energy, Not Just Food Rules
Many busy men come to nutrition coaching because of energy, not weight. The afternoon crash, the late-night snacking and the coffee that stops working are often signs of long gaps between meals and short sleep. If losing weight is a goal too, coaching for weight loss builds on these same food habits.
That is why eating habits are coached alongside sleep and movement. Steadier meals tend to mean a steadier afternoon, and a steadier afternoon makes the evening workout or the home-cooked dinner more likely.
Who It Is For
Hardworking men who eat on the run, crash in the afternoon, and want food to fuel their training and their day instead of being one more thing to figure out. You don't need to count anything or give up the foods you enjoy to start. It's one-on-one online nutrition coaching, so it travels with you, wherever the week takes you.
“You framed it like, you're an engine and you need fuel to run, and I was like, oh, that's so simple, why did I not think about that?”
How PWP Compares to Other Kinds of Help
Diet apps count calories and meal plans tell you what to eat. Nutrition coaching at PWP works on when, how and why you eat, so better choices fit inside a busy week.

Common Questions
Something else on your mind? Email us.
Will I get a meal plan?
No. Coaching focuses on habits like regular meals, planning and simple swaps. If you need a meal plan or a diet for a medical condition, see a registered dietitian.
Do I have to count calories?
No. Most people start with when and how they eat, not numbers.
Are PWP coaches dietitians?
No. PWP's coaches, Dr. Luke Alley and Dr. Tony Chan, are Doctors of Physical Therapy, and Luke is a certified health coach. We coach eating habits and work alongside dietitians and doctors.
Can I still eat out and enjoy food?
Yes. The plan is built around your real life, including meals out and the foods you like.
How does virtual nutrition coaching work?
You log meals in Everfit, your coach reviews them with you, and the plan adjusts each week. There are no clinic visits, so it fits around travel and late meetings.
Nutrition coach vs nutritionist: what's the difference?
Registered dietitians, and licensed nutritionists in states that license them, handle meal plans and nutrition care for medical conditions. A nutrition coach like PWP helps you build and keep everyday eating habits. If you need medical nutrition care, see a dietitian first. Coaching can help you follow their plan.
