What Clients Say
“I've probably napped like three times since we started the program.”
Predictability Beats Effort
Most adults who sleep badly aren't doing anything wrong in bed. The problem is the day around it: a wake time that changes every weekend, caffeine too late, a laptop open until midnight, a smoke or a scroll as the only way to wind down, and naps to make up for it.
Sleep coaching starts with timing and routine. A steady wake time, a reminder to stop working, a cooler and darker room. Small, predictable changes often help more than trying harder to fall asleep.
What Sleep Coaching Includes
This is Personalized Health Coaching, started from sleep: you get an adult sleep coach inside the one program, not a separate service.
- A look at your current sleep timing, evenings and energy
- One consistent wake time you can keep, weekends included
- A simple evening routine that ends the workday
- Daytime habits that help: light, movement and caffeine timing
- Habit tracking in the Everfit app
- Someone to message after a rough night, plus a weekly check-in and a 1-on-1 every month
Why Sleep Is Often the First Domino
Better sleep means more energy the next afternoon. More energy makes a workout or a home-cooked dinner more likely. Both make the next night easier. For a lot of busy men, an evening routine that gets them to bed 30 minutes earlier is the first change that makes everything else stick.
What Sleep Coaching Is Not
This is coaching for adults' sleep habits. It is not baby or child sleep training, and it does not diagnose or treat sleep disorders such as insomnia disorder or sleep apnea. If you snore loudly, stop breathing at night, or have struggled to sleep for months, see your doctor. Coaching can support the routine side alongside their care.
Signs Your Routine Is Costing You Sleep
Most sleep problems in busy adults start long before bedtime. These are common patterns:
- Your wake time shifts by two hours on weekends
- You work or scroll right up until lights out
- Coffee is still going after 2pm
- You sleep in to recover and then cannot fall asleep
- You get almost no daylight or movement during the day
- You feel tired all day and wide awake at night
What a First Block Looks Like
The first 4-week block usually focuses on two things only: one wake time, every day, and a reminder 30 minutes before your chosen lights-out to put work and screens away. It sounds simple. For most people, it is the hardest and most useful part.
Once that holds, later blocks add daytime habits that make sleep easier: a morning walk for light, moving caffeine earlier, and exercise that tires you out in a good way. Each change is tracked in Everfit and reviewed with your coach every month. More in our guide for bad sleepers.
Who It Is For
Men who wake up tired, crash in the afternoon, and stay up later than they mean to, often scrolling or finishing work. If sleep is part of a bigger picture of exhaustion, burnout coaching uses the same program.
From daily naps to about three in four months
“I woke up extra early to prepare a little breakfast for myself. Before this program I would have slept until the very last second and skipped a meal.”
PWP member. Grad studentHe was in a five-day accelerated graduate program with clinicals: skipping breakfast, sleeping inconsistently and napping to escape stress. With a daily checklist and a weekly reflection, he went from napping regularly to about three naps in four months, slept 6 to 7 hours on more than 90% of days, and got back into competitive soccer.
How PWP Compares to Other Kinds of Help
Sleep trackers show you a score. Sleep coaching at PWP changes the routines behind it, and connects sleep to the movement, food and stress habits that affect it.

Common Questions
Something else on your mind? Email us.
Is this sleep coaching for babies?
No. This is sleep coaching for adults, focused on your own sleep habits and energy.
What does sleep coaching for adults involve?
Sleep coaching for adults helps you build steady sleep timing and evening routines, and the daytime habits that support them, then keeps you accountable while they stick.
Can coaching treat insomnia or sleep apnea?
No. Those need a doctor. Coaching works on everyday sleep habits and can support medical care.
Do I need a sleep tracker?
No. A tracker can help, but the plan works with simple habit tracking in the Everfit app.
Is this insomnia coaching?
Not in the clinical sense. Insomnia disorder is best treated with CBT-I from a trained clinician, so see your doctor if you've struggled to sleep for months. Our coaching works on the everyday habits around sleep, like timing, evenings and daylight, and can run alongside that care.
I stay up late just to get time for myself. Can coaching help?
Yes. Staying up for "me time" after a long day, sometimes called revenge bedtime procrastination, is a common pattern. The fix isn't willpower. It's building some of that time into the evening earlier, plus a cut-off routine that makes bed the easy choice.
